Cation 9H resin is a strong acid cation exchange resin specially designed for water treatment applications. It removes positively charged ions (cations) such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, iron, and other hardness-causing salts from water. The resin is manufactured from a polystyrene–divinylbenzene matrix with sulfonic acid functional groups, which provide high exchange capacity and long operating life.
